These Terms of Service, which also constitute the End User License Agreement (the "EULA," and together, these "Terms"), govern your access to and use of the website shortmountain.holiday and any software, applications, and integrations operated by Taming Lions, LLC, doing business as Short Mountain Holiday ("Short Mountain Holiday," "we," "us," or "our"), including our private integration with Intuit's QuickBooks Online (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Taming Lions, LLC is a Tennessee limited liability company operating Short Mountain Holiday, a luxury geodesic dome retreat on 30 acres in Cannon County, Tennessee, located at 215 Cove Ridge Ln, Liberty, TN 37095.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended, lawful purposes — namely, browsing our website, learning about and inquiring about our retreat, and being directed to our booking partner to reserve a stay.
The QuickBooks Online integration is a private, internal-use integration operated by Taming Lions, LLC for its own bookkeeping. It is not licensed, offered, sold, or made available to any third party, and no end-user license to that integration is granted to guests, visitors, or any other party. This EULA documents the terms under which our own software and integration are operated.

Reservations for our domes are processed through a third-party booking platform (HolidayFuture / Hostaway), not on this website. Any booking, payment, cancellation, and stay is subject to the terms, rates, and policies presented at the time of booking and to the policies of that platform. These Terms govern your use of our website and software; they do not replace the booking terms you agree to when you reserve a stay.
The Services, including all text, copy, photographs, graphics, logos, design, and software, are owned by Taming Lions, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. The name "Short Mountain Holiday" and our logos are marks of Taming Lions, LLC. Except for the limited license above, no right or license is granted to you. You may not use our content or marks without our prior written permission.
The Services rely on or link to third-party services, including Intuit (QuickBooks Online), Anthropic (AI processing for internal expense categorization), Netlify (hosting and forms), Google (analytics), and HolidayFuture / Hostaway (booking). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services. Our use of and access to Intuit's QuickBooks Online API is additionally subject to Intuit's developer and platform terms.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect information, including with respect to our QuickBooks Online integration. By using the Services, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on the Services is accurate, complete, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taming Lions, LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Taming Lions, LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Tennessee.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
